Our company, Thousand, was founded with the goal of making safety seamless and helping people move freely. Before starting Thousand, our founder Gloria Hwang never wore a helmet, even as a longtime cyclist. However, after losing a friend in a fatal bike crash, she knew she had to change. Instead of settling for the "sci-fi" looking helmets on the market, she set out to design one that people would actually want to wear.

We named our company "Thousand" as a daily reminder of our mission to help save 1000 lives by creating helmets that are both functional and stylish. All of our helmets are certified for cycling, roller skating, and skateboarding in North America and Europe, ensuring you can use them for a variety of activities. The hidden PopLock channel behind the logo allows you to conveniently and securely lock your helmet to your bike, giving you peace of mind when leaving it behind.

For a comfortable fit, our helmets feature an easily adjustable Dial Fit System. You can tighten or loosen the fit by simply turning the dial. The interior fit pads can also be removed to customize the fit to your preference. Our sustainable, vegan leather straps will keep you comfortable and sweat-free, while the seven air vents and three cooling channels help you stay cool.

We stand behind our products with two key guarantees. If your helmet is ever stolen while locked to your bike through the PopLock, we'll replace it for free under our Anti-Theft Replacement Policy. Additionally, if your helmet is damaged in an accident, we'll replace it for free through our Free Accident Replacement program.
